No, you do not need to know how to swim to parasail.

Is a life jacket mandatory to parasail?
Yes. wearing a life jacket is required by law or company policy regardless of your swimming ability.

 

What is the minimum age to participate in parasail?
minimum age to parasail is typically between 5 and 6 years old, depending entirely on the specific tour operator's insurance and local regulations.

 

How long will the parasailing take?
The entire trip takes around 45 minutes. Your parasailing flight will take between 8 to 10 minutes

 

How high is parasailing in Aruba?
During the flight you will be taken up to about 400 to 600 feet.

 

Do they drop you in the water when parasailing?
The crew can dip you in the water if you wish. It is entirely up to you.

 

Do you take photos or videos during the tour?
Yes, upon booking a photographer will be arranged to be on board for you to take photos of you going up and up in the air. You will receive here from 15 - 20 good quality photos. These photos will be ready and sent to you by no later than 7:00PM on the day of your booking.

What happens if the weather is bad to parasailing?
If the water is too rough, or if there is lightning or high winds, most operators will reschedule your booking or offer a full refund for safety reasons.

 

What should you wear when you go parasailing?
When going parasailing, wear light, comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting wet. Wear easy-to-slip-off sandals, flip-flops, or water shoes for walking on the dock or boat deck. You will typically go barefoot during the actual

 

Can I wear glasses or contact lenses?
Yes, you can wear glasses or contact lenses while parasailing, provided you take a few precautions to keep them secure.
